After breakfast at your riad, we will begin our guided tour of Marrakech with a professional local guide.
We will start by visiting the Saadian Tombs, which were hidden for centuries and rediscovered in 1917. Here, we will admire the beautiful tile work and learn about the history of the Saadian dynasty.
Next, we will visit the Bahia Palace and the Badi Palace. These historic sites are known for their impressive architecture, colorful mosaics, carved wooden ceilings, and peaceful gardens.
We will then continue to see the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech, famous for its tall minaret that dominates the city skyline.
After that, we will walk through the lively souks of the Medina. As we explore the narrow streets, we will see spices, leather goods, handmade lamps, carpets, and traditional Moroccan crafts.
Our tour will end at Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where we can see storytellers, musicians, food stalls, and street performers.
In the afternoon, you will have free time to relax or, if you prefer, we can visit the Majorelle Garden in the modern part of the city.
