Morocco’s Desert Experience Camp
Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges
Your 4 days desert tour from Marrakech starts at 8:00 AM with pick-up from your hotel or riad. We drive across the High Atlas Mountains and pass through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, where you can enjoy amazing views of Berber villages and mountain landscapes. Our first stop is Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous kasbahs in Morocco. You will have about one hour to walk around and take photos. After that, we continue to Ouarzazate, where you will have lunch and visit one of the well-known Atlas film studios. In the afternoon, we drive through Skoura Oasis and Kalaat M’gouna in the Valley of Roses. Before arriving in Dades Gorges, we stop to see the unique rock formations known as the “Monkey Toes.” Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Dades Gorges.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert – Camel Ride – Desert Glamping
After breakfast, we continue toward the Sahara Desert. We pass through Tinghir and stop at Todra Gorges, a beautiful canyon with tall cliffs that reach up to 300 meters. You will have time to walk and take pictures. We then drive through small Berber villages such as Tinejdad and continue to Erfoud. From there, it is about 40 minutes to Merzouga Desert. Upon arrival, we take you to your desert camp to check in and enjoy a glass of mint tea. Later, you will start your camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Stop to take photos and watch the sunset over the Sahara. After dinner, enjoy traditional music around the campfire. Overnight stay in a comfortable Berber desert tent.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – N’Kob – Ouarzazate
Wake up early to watch the beautiful sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you can try sandboarding if you wish. We then leave the desert and head toward Ouarzazate. Our first stop is Rissani, where you can visit the traditional market (open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays). We continue through Alnif and reach the village of N’Kob, surrounded by palm trees and old kasbahs. After that, we drive along the scenic Draa Valley, famous for its long palm groves and historic villages. In the evening, we arrive in Ouarzazate. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast in Ouarzazate, we begin our journey back to Marrakech. We cross the High Atlas Mountains again via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Enjoy the mountain views and photo stops along the way. Arrival in Marrakech is expected around 4:00 PM. Drop-off at your accommodation. End of your 4 days desert tour from Marrakech.
