Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Our 12-day Morocco tour starts by picking you up from Marrakech Airport. We will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel or riad in the Medina. After check-in, you can rest after your flight. If you arrive early and feel comfortable, we can take a short walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, explore the nearby souks, or visit Majorelle Garden. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech Guided City Tour
After breakfast, we will begin our guided tour of Marrakech with a professional local guide. We will start by visiting the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in the city, known for its tall minaret that dominates the skyline. Then, we will visit the Bahia Palace, where we will admire the beautiful gardens, colorful tiles, and carved wooden ceilings. Next, we will explore the Saadian Tombs, where members of the Saadian dynasty are buried. We will learn about their history and admire the detailed decorations. After that, we will walk through Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and continue into the traditional souks, where we will see leather goods, spices, carpets, lamps, and handmade crafts. In the afternoon, we will visit Majorelle Garden, a peaceful garden filled with exotic plants and bright blue buildings. You will have free time later in the day. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 3: Marrakech – Chichaoua – Essaouira
After breakfast, we will drive from Marrakech to Essaouira, passing through Chichaoua along the way. Upon arrival in Essaouira, we will visit the old city walls and the fortress that once protected the port. We will walk along the ramparts and enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean. We will then explore the fishing harbor, where you can see blue boats and fresh seafood. You may choose to enjoy fresh fish for lunch. In the afternoon, we will walk through the white and blue streets of the medina, visit local art shops, and enjoy the relaxed coastal atmosphere. Overnight stay in Essaouira.

Day 4: Essaouira – Casablanca
After breakfast, we will continue our journey to Casablanca. Upon arrival, we will visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, built partly over the Atlantic Ocean. We will admire its impressive architecture and tall minaret. Next, we will stop at Rick’s Café, inspired by the famous movie Casablanca. You may enjoy a drink or take photos. In the evening, we will transfer you to your hotel. Overnight stay in Casablanca.

Day 5: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we will drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. We will visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas, where we can walk through the white and blue streets overlooking the ocean. After lunch, we will continue our drive to Chefchaouen. If we arrive early, we can walk to the Spanish Mosque to watch the sunset over the blue city. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 6: Chefchaouen – Fes
In the morning, we will explore Chefchaouen. We will visit Ras El Ma, where fresh water flows from the mountains. Then we will walk through the famous blue-painted streets of the medina and visit the Kasbah in the main square. You will have time to take photos and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. In the afternoon, we will drive to Fes through the Rif Mountains, passing small villages and green hills. Arrival in Fes and transfer to your riad.

Day 7: Fes Guided City Tour
After breakfast, we will begin our guided tour of Fes. We will first visit the Royal Palace gates and the Jewish Quarter (Mellah). Then we will stop at a pottery workshop to see how traditional ceramics are made. Next, we will go to Borj Sud to enjoy a panoramic view over Fes. After that, we will enter the old Medina through Bab Boujloud and visit Al Attarine Madrasa, Bou Inania Madrasa, and Al Quaraouiyine University. Finally, we will visit the famous Chouara Tannery, where leather is dyed using traditional methods. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Fes.

Day 8: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
After breakfast, we will travel toward the Merzouga desert. We will first stop in Ifrane, known for its European-style houses and the Atlas Lion statue. Next, we will visit the cedar forest near Azrou, where we will see Barbary monkeys. We will continue to Midelt for lunch and then drive through the Ziz Valley, known for its large palm groves. In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Merzouga and transfer you to your riad. Overnight stay in Merzouga.

Day 9: Merzouga – Nomads – Khamlia – Oasis – Camel Ride – Desert Camp
Today, we will explore the Merzouga desert region. We will visit a nomadic Berber family and learn about their lifestyle. Then we will drive through the Black Desert to visit the old M’Ifiss mines. We will enjoy a traditional lunch (Berber pizza) before visiting Khamlia village to listen to Gnawa music. Later, we will visit the palm grove of Hassi Labied. In the afternoon, we will start the camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will stop to watch the sunset before arriving at the desert camp. Dinner and overnight stay in a private tent in the desert.

We recommend waking up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we will drive to Rissani to visit its traditional market.
